Privacy Policy

Your books are private. This policy explains what we collect on this site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you enter: your name, email address and phone number.
- Information about your books you choose to share: the accounting system you use, the number of accounts and monthly transactions, how many months need attention, and the areas of your books that need work.
- Verification details: when you confirm your email, we send a one-time code to the address you entered and record that it was verified.
- Payment and signing details: payments are handled by a third-party payment processor and agreements are signed through an electronic signature service. We do not store full card numbers.
- Price estimates viewed: when you use the price calculator, we record the selections you made (system, accounts, volume, months) and the price shown. This record does not include your name or email unless you also submit your details.
- Basic technical data, such as your browser type and the pages requested, which our web host records in routine server logs.
How we use it
- To prepare your price and respond to your request.
- To verify your email address and keep our forms secure.
- To perform the work you engage us for and to send related service messages.
- To keep records we are required to keep and to protect against misuse.
Access to your QuickBooks file
If you engage us, you invite our team to your QuickBooks Online company as an accountant user, and you can remove that access at any time. We do not ask for your QuickBooks password or your bank login. See Data security and access for details.
Where your information is stored
Inquiries and quote requests are recorded in a private, access-controlled Google Workspace account owned by our firm, and the messages we send you, such as verification codes and replies, are delivered through that same account. Only our team can open those records. Payment details are entered on our payment processor’s secure page and are never stored on this site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, such as our web host, cloud productivity and email, payment processing and electronic signature providers, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Cookies and third-party content
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google when a page loads. Credential badges link to Credly, and links to Intuit open on Intuit’s own site; those sites have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
If you contact us or request a price but do not become a client, we keep that information for up to 24 months and then delete it. Price-estimate records are kept in the same way. Client records for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete inquiry information at any time, subject to those obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Send us a message through our contact page and we will respond promptly. Residents of some states have additional rights under their state privacy laws, and we honor valid requests.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
